Presentation Title: Configuring Check-Mate to Enhance User Experience

Who: Ric Hotchkiss, Principal Design Automation Architect

When: Monday, May 13th @ 2:45 PM in Breakers L

About: Check-Mate is a powerful tool for checking NX model quality, validating conditions such as layers, drafting standards, modeling practices, reference sets and more. The huge list of out-of-the-box checks can be a bit overwhelming.  Using Check-Mate is easier for users when checks are grouped into profiles that are configured to simplify how checks are presented to the user. The following topics will be presented:

  • Defining the Check-Mate environment variables
  • Setting Check-Mate Customer Defaults
  • Creating and maintaining profiles interactively
  • Configuring Check-Mate to simplify the results presentation

Presentation Title: NX Programming Tools Roundtable

Who: Ric Hotchkiss, Principal Design Automation Architect

When: TBD

About: NX provides extensive programming tools that can be used to customize and automate NX processes. This session will be an open discussion regarding the current state of NX programming tools functionality (NX/Open, Journals, SNAP, Knowledge Fusion). The following topics will be presented:

  • Programming tool best practices and successes
  • Programming tool issues
  • Desired enhancements

Presentation Title: Improve Efficiency with Advanced Automation using NX Open

Who: Ric Hotchkiss, Principal Design Automation Architect

When: Tuesday, May 14th @ 10:30 AM in Breakers L
