What is Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)?

  • Manufacturing Quality: the count of good product being produced

The calculation of these three Key Performance Indicators are known as loss-related manufacturing factors because they are measured by the division of the actual and the ideal.

  • Equipment Availability = Run Time / Planned Production Time
  • Manufacturing Performance = Total Count / Run Time) / Ideal Run Rate
  • Manufacturing Quality = Good Count / Total Count
