About the Webinar: Digital Product Passports – The Key to Growth Beyond Compliance

In this on-demand webinar, the discussion focused on Digital Product Passports (DPPs) and their role under the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), which came into effect on July 18, 2024. The regulation impacts industries including textiles, tires, cosmetics and luxury goods, requiring products sold in the EU to include a Digital Product Passport by 2030.

While regulatory compliance is essential, the session explores how DPPs can also support operational efficiency, sustainability initiatives and customer engagement by providing structured, transparent product data across the lifecycle.

The webinar was delivered as a Lunch & Learn session featuring perspectives from industry and circular economy experts, covering sustainability, regulatory compliance and approaches to future-ready digital solutions.

Key Takeaways

  • Compliance Readiness: how organizations can prepare for ESPR requirements and upcoming regulations.
  • Product Data Management: ways to streamline operations through improved product data handling.
  • Circular Processes: how circular economy principles can be integrated into business models.
  • Customer Transparency: how transparent product information can support trust and engagement.
  • Business Opportunities: considerations for using DPPs to support growth in competitive markets.
