Hi everyone, this is Simon with Battery Associates. I'm extremely delighted right now to have Ankit with me from Engineering Industries eXcellence.
They’ve been one of our partners for some time now – we also had them at our Battery Day – and I’ve really enjoyed working with them and seeing them grow in this exciting and important battery sector, which we’re strongly advocating for and supporting. We thought we’d share a bit about being here at Hannover Messe, where a lot of things are happening, and speak about what partnership means to us and why partnerships are important.
Hi everyone, regards from Hannover Messe! It’s great energy, great to be here at the SAP Hall and SAP booth, presenting our solution offerings with SAP. It's also nice to be here with Simon and to talk about partnerships. It has been a valuable partnership with Battery Associates. They've supported, worked with and coordinated with us on various opportunities, especially in supporting our customers when it comes to offering Battery Passport and battery regulation solutions for upcoming compliance requirements.
And not only that – they’ve helped us when it comes to battery supply chain and value chain transparency, and introducing concepts like the Digital Product Passport. That’s one of the key developments from the European Commission tied to the circular economy and the EcoDesign for Sustainable Products Regulation.
So really, it’s great to work with Battery Associates and to experience the value this partnership brings.
Simon, how do you see the collaboration from your perspective?
Yeah, I’ve really enjoyed it. I remember the early days – we met through some events like Future Battery Forum and other platforms. We had a few touchpoints and later integrated a few of your team members into the Battery MBA, which was awesome. We now have over 670 alumni, and having your team as part of that was great.
Over time, we’ve brought you along to some industry trips and had a few team members join those. You've also joined us as company members, where we do monthly updates, briefings and look at how we can support you strategically.
At Battery Day, where you joined as a sponsor, I heard you made some great connections – which is fantastic. It was also great to see your marketing team join us there.
So yeah, I think it’s been really nice to see how we can help you both on the knowledge side and the network side – those are really the two things we stand for.
And as a partner, you’re providing your services to major brands like SAP and many others. It’s been exciting to see how you bring your expertise in building tools and supporting digital solutions, while we help keep you connected with the latest battery insights, industry trends and networks.
It’s truly been a great partnership that brings those two aspects together.
For us, the value that comes from our partnership with Battery Associates is the knowledge you share – whether it’s the latest industry trends or how the battery sector is evolving, including the use of critical materials in the manufacturing of battery cells, modules and packs.
There’s also the valuable information shared through your newsletters, which are spread globally. Your reach isn’t limited to one region – it extends across Asia, the U.S and the EU. That shows the strong network you’ve built over the years.
And that network really adds value both ways – because at Engineering Industries eXcellence, we’re always focused on helping our customers meet their sustainability and circularity goals, including carbon footprint declarations.
So it’s been a great pleasure to work with you.
